Since 1858, from generation to generation, the Brisson family has been passionately involved in the cultivation of the vines with the utmost respect for the Charentais terroir.

End distiller following the rules of her ancestors, Joan Brisson wanted to share his love and his products directly with a demanding and epicurean clientele. It was then that in the 1990s, the brand Joan Brisson was deposited.

The 45 ha family vineyard is originally located in Matha, a small town in Charente Maritime, 20 km north of Cognac in the delimited area of the Fins Bois appellation. It has spread today around Sainte-Sévère and around Saint-Sulpice de Cognac in the Borderies appellation.
