Vieux Pineau des Charentes Rosé

This Vieux Pineau des Charentes rosé is made from red grapes (2 / 3 merlot and 1 / 3 cabernet franc). The grapes are harvested by hand. The grapes are then de-stemmed, and follows a cold maceration for 24 to 48 hours. Her dress is very attractive and strong. Merlot, this largely gives its aromas of red and black fruit (cassis, cherry) which evolve very quickly to Kirch. It is well balanced in the mouth. Cherry is still there, leaving the place in final blackcurrant and strawberry.

Food pairing :

Traditionally very popular with women, Pineau des Charentes is consumed as an aperitif than dessert. Its soft intensifies the sweetness and aroma of some fruits such as melon or strawberries. It must be served in tulip glass between 5 and 6 c.
